popsycalindisguise · 24/11/2005 17:45

60z milk expressed during the day yesterday sotored in fridge.

childminder tried to give it to ds2 at 2:30 - 'took the chill off it' (stored in fridge prior to that) but ds2 didnt drink any of it....

in cool bag with ice pack or fridge since then.

would you use it for the evening feed??

It is 6oz....and smells fine....

I probably would.

SenoraPostrophe · 24/11/2005 17:47

I would: you don't have to be nearly as careful with your own ebm as with formula (as has antibodies and things in). but that's me.

your ds is nearly a year now isn't he?

popsycalindisguise · 24/11/2005 17:48

almost 9 months......
I might ask dh to drink it first

excellent disguise btw.

Racers · 24/11/2005 17:50

i think it would depend whether your DS had tried the bottle - if not, i might, if he had, I might be a bit unsure about bacteria from his mouth.

Racers · 24/11/2005 17:52

oh yes, he's not a young baby then, I agree with the others, give it a try, given the antibac qualities.

popsycalindisguise · 24/11/2005 18:01

Can I hijack this one? EBM removed from freezer "by mistake" by partner last night - grrr. Left out all night - no heating in kitchen. Only noticed this am. Do I have to bin it?

Racers · 25/11/2005 13:19

Is it fully defrosted yet? You can defrost overnight in a fridge so if the kitchen is cool I'd bet it is ok but should be used as soon as poss?!

Tinker · 25/11/2005 13:39

It was defrosted and not cold when I noticed it so am guessing it has to be chucked? Think I will anyway, just to be sure. Thanks though.

just to feedback...
