This weeks winner is "she's using you as a dummy". I'd actually never thought about that before but isn't a dummy a me substitute and not the other way around?

'She's just using you for comfort' (re bfing)

Can't have that. No comfort here little baby, feed properly or not at all.

Mine has no pyjamas - he just wears a t-shirt. That must be where we're going wrong :)

I was told that I shouldn't put mine in a door jumper, or let him stand up too early because he'd get bow legs

(jolly jumper at 2.5 months when he could hold his head up himself, standing soon after, walking at 8.5 months and no sign of bow legs yet so I think we're safe)

Oh.. we're in breast and bottle feeding... doh.

I've had the human dummy one.. I looked shocked and told them I was pretty sure they had it backwards and a dummy was a rubber human.

My FIL cannot understand why DD (16 weeks) isn't on a bottle yet. He truly seems to think breastfeeding is just something that mothers are forced to put up with until their babies will take a bottle. He must think I'm crap at this mothering thing not to have worked out how to bottle feed her yet!
