I loved Womanly, but I can't say I learnt lots from it - just the odd thing. It was just a nice, reassuring kind of read. cos I think you'd be the same as me. Maybe pick up one or two things, or clarify something, or remind you of something, but that's about all. But it's a lovely, solid tome to have in your collection
, and also I suppose it's a useful reference book for the basics - or rather should I say, normality.
moon Yes, ok we're talking about the same thing, and I do have it. I bought everything I could on term/extended/etc.
It's interesting how challenges change. With this child I've been totally unconcerned about BFing in public and would even have welcomed a challenge (although I guess few people really notice when you get the knack anyway) but I am starting to feel a leeetle bit different with DS at a year old. But I've recently discovered that there's a BFing group near me with a mum who BFs 3 yr olds, and another mum feeding, I think, a 2 YO, so I'm going to visit, and also go to a LLL.
truth at the ABM meeting I picked up the details of the publisher that publishes all the LC books. All scarily expensive but I see them coming my way in the near future none the less.
cos I think for light reading you'll enjoy Fresh Milk. I'll put it to one side for you. For learning stuff, thanks all for lots of good suggestions :)
