16 week old ebf poo

My DS has recently (in the last two weeks) started to poo alot more. He used to do one explosion every 1-2 days. They really were massive, leaked everywhere. But now he does much smaller poos, just a skid really, about 4 times a day. The poo is still yellow and runny. Does anyone know why this might be? I don't think the amount he eats has changed particularly.

Has your diet changed at all?
Does he have a temperature at all?

Or it could just be one of those things....

Hi Knitter. No, diet is the same and he seems well. Maybe he's just getting better at getting his poo out more frequently now he's a bit older? Weird.

Mine did the same Bet. He's 21 weeks now, I think it has to do with his digestive system maturing and becoming more efficient. Now he poos once every 2 days and they are whoppers Grin

They often do change their bowel habits at that age. If he seems fine then don't worry.

Thanks all, I'm sure he's fine, just wanted to check it wasn't something to do with eating too much or not enough!

Well they can't get too much bm and if he wasn't getting enough he wouldn't have anything to poo Smile

My MW says that looking at poo is like reading tea leaves.

It really is Mrs TerryP! Never thought I'd be obsessed with poo. Mind you, never thought I'd be grateful for 5 hours sleep either, but you live and learn!
