Four week old dd fed almost constantly Thursday Friday presumed it was a growth spurt she's hardly fed today is this normal? Probably another stupid question!

3-5 weeks almost constant feeding with dd so yes it's a spurt

What about the not feeding after?

Came and went a bit so would have a mad few days then calmer one (she js still a bit like that now). Dd feeding always very much based on evenings too so also used to think would be calming down until
Milk monster came out at about 6.

How have nappies been today? Normal? Check that her fontanelle isn't depressed - that's a big sign of dehydration.

It does vary alot, but I would concentrate on the hardly feeding today, not the previous frantic feeding which would be more usual for a baby this age and is absolutely feed.
