6wk growth spurt - how long does it last?

DD2 (6wks) has started waking more frequently in the night (2-3hrs) and some naps demanding food, so I'm assuming this is a growth spurt! How long do they last? DH is away for work next week, please tell me it'll be over by then?!

It varies as everything with babies... For my DD it lasted about 10 days but other babies from my NCT group had shorter ones and some felt like it was longer. Thing is after a week of it you're exhausted anyway so I know I wasn't sure if she was still feeding loads or whether it just felt like that since I was so tired... if that makes sense.

Thanks Catherine, I had a feeling it would be around a week... We've gone straight from a cold into the growth spurt, so waking/feeding every 2-3 hrs is beginning to feel normal! However she has just gone 4.5hrs so perhaps I can see some light at the end of the tunnel!! Smile
