Just need to clarify...

Going on a course& I have expressed baring amounts the last 2 weeks usually in the region of 2-3oz. And frozen it.
I reckon i may need 4 oz per feed. Do I take two frozen bags out, thaw in bowl of hot water, mix in bottle and give ?
And once heated how long can I keep the bm?

Thanks. Really want to give bin some ebm in between f

I think kellymom will probably have rules on this.

When DD was in SCBU our rules were that you could defrost EBM in fridge and keep it for 24 hours. But that if you defrosted it by running it under the hot tap it had to be used immediately.

Hopefully somebody will be along soon with more info. If not do a search on kellymom and I'm sure you'll find more detailed guidelines.

In case you didn't notice, unfrozen and in the fridge it lasts up to 8 days. So if you know you'll use some in the next week then I didn't bother freezing which then gave more flexibility in deal with the milk.
