6 hours between feeds

dd just woke up for night 5 at 530 having not fed since 1130, I had to wake her up to feed, is this normal? She did feed 14times yesterday during the day.

night 5 meaning she is 5 days old?
yeah, my DS slept for 5 or 6 hours in row on day 3 or 4...didn't last!

don't let her get dehydrated, but apart from that, enjoy any sleep you can get

as long as she has plenty of wet/dirty nappies and is gaining weight (even just a little bit) she will be fine!

Like others have said, as long as she is bright and alert at times and is giving you plenty of wet and dirty nappies she should be fine.

Thanks ladies, she's been great today awake for a full 2 hours this morning, just when she had visitors to see her!!

Sure enough didn't last! Now up every 2 hours!
