Wow! I'm no scientist but with 2 dc with tt I had suspected a lot of this!
What makes it even worse from my pov I'd that their tt both grew back! Currently suffering with dd and colic. Hope we can sort her tt soon!

Always thought that DS2's reflux causes bad feeding, but reading the signs of tongue tie he has most of it so it could be that his bad feeding is causing reflux symptoms after all. He's got a normal looking tongue that has been checked out by midwives a few times so they have ruled out TT. Have mentioned to every health professional we've seen about his clicking and clucking, constant gagging, choking, excessive gas, vomitting and screaming during feeds but the response is always just a blank face or that it's reflux.

For those with TT experience, Do I just go to the GP and demand that he gets checked by a specialist? how does it work? Thanks.

dd was checked by 7 HCP who said "no tt here"
our hospital have a infant feeding support team who are best to diagnose tt and can cut here. (bristol)
speak to your hv about who is qualified to diagnose or snip in your area.
