me again!! Dd 1 week fed like a nutter last night between 6 and 10 this morning my boobs feel totally empty! Is this normal will she still be getting anything when she feeds?

Your boobs are never empty

Your supply and the way your breasts feel will settle down

Sounds like your DD is cluster feeding to boost your supply - the more she feeds, the more milk your body will make

Is her latch good? Plenty of wet nappies etc?

Milk is produced during a feed, so your breasts are never really empty. The more she feeds the more milk is made.

What you've described sounds like cluster feeding and is very normal!

As rubyslippers and RitaMorgan have said. Also, when your baby feeds off a softer breast, as well as boosting your supply, she gets higher-fat milk.

How are your nipples feeling?

Thanks nipples are a bit sore but seem to be starting to heal a bit now am managing the odd pain free feed!!
