Took out some frozen expressed milk this morning into fridge as was going to leave DD for a few hours tomorrow. Not going out now so no need for expressed milk. Don't want to use it up when it's not needed. Can it go straight back in freezer? It's been in fridge for 3 hours and is a tinsy bit of defrosed milk in bottom but mostly completely frozen still.

any advice???

Health and safety would say no. Is it the end of the world if it's wasted? You can make more!

MummaHG · 16/05/2011 13:18

I would say no, give it to hubby in his tea or coffee he will never know & then its not wasted lol!!!

reastie · 16/05/2011 13:42

yeah, just i don't express much so seems a little precious. lol to mummahg at giving it to dh Grin . dd has a cold at the min so if she's fussy more at night tonight DH can always get up to give expressed milk to save me Grin

def cant be re-frozen.

PenguinArmy · 17/05/2011 21:58

am aware this is a bit late but

if it is still has ice crystals and is mainly frozen then yes

just make sure you remember to do the sniff test when it comes out again.

Get DH hubby to feed it to DD while you have a relaxing bath and an early night! :)
