Hi,

DD is 9 months. I fell pg with her when I she was 3mnths old. I stopped bf because I have a history of miscarriages and didn't want to run the risk as someone told be bf in early pregnancy can cause problems.

Anyway. I am now leaking milk (had the same thig with DD) and am wondering if i could start bf her again?

Might that not confuse her? She might find it harder when the new baby comes, unless you want to tandem feed of course.

i would like to tandem feed yes

Have you tried just latching her on?

ellangirl · 14/05/2011 13:19

Well in that case I wouldn't see the problem, if she wants and you're able to. I know people who have fed right through pregnancy without problems. Try contacting your local LLL leader for advice- she could prob put you in touch with someone who had done this.

I have tried latching her on. she just laughs at me.

It will be up to her I suppose. She may have forgotten how to latch on and won't be interested. You could catch the milk in breast shells and give it to her in a cup if you don't want it to go to waste.
