Expressed milk/ how many bottles?

Dh will be home alone with 6wo ds tomorrow
I have been expressing so he can feed ds but dont have a clue volume wise how much milk will be needed & thus whether I've expressed enough to cover the amount if time I'll be gone?
Ds isn't really in routine as yet, but assuming I can feed him at 9am and would be back by 630pm how much ml/ bottles do you think I'll need to leave?
Thanks

Kellymon has a page on how much expressed milk to give a baby. It has a handy calculator too on the page. from what I can remember it's 750ml a day, divided by number of feeds he does a day.

I think lilham is right - you'll need around an oz an hour while you're away. Might be best to divide it into 2oz or 3oz bottles so you're not wasting any.
