I currently block feed (right for 3hrs, then next time he feeds he goes to left & for following 3hrs). If i wanted to cut down (due to going back to work) how would i fo it? He feeds every 3hrs ish so he'd prob have:

Left at 9am
right at 12pm
left at 3pm
right at 6pm and so on...

if i was to miss a feed it'd be

Left at 9am
right at 12pm
miss a feed
left at 6pm

but thats a long time to go isnt it?

I do the same routine as you with DD at mo & prev with DS.
How old is your little one?
Are you asking about long length of time for you or him?

For you...It does sound like a long time but really it all balances out really quickly. The day after dropping a feed I feel a bit fuller and the day after that I've adjusted. Our bodies are so amazing!
For him.... I 'd presume he's having food & fluids to replace you!

yeh he would be having a bottle or fluids/foods to replace me lol. i was thinking a long length of time for my boobs to go without being emptied

Can you not express at work? It sounds like he's still very young, if you're block-feeding, so if you don't express it'll be difficult for you supply-wise. Is it a job where that's possible?

theres no where in the work place for me to express (no private rooms etc), my ds is 5 months so hopefully will be weaning/drinking water etc so i was hoping to drop a feed and replace with that?
