Sore nipple. Blocked duct?

I am 10 m into BFing so it's not poor positioning I don't think. Actual nipple (not surrounding area) a bit red and swollen and really hurts, especially when DS latches on and still hurts when he feeds. Can't see an actual white spot on the nipple but does this sound like a blocked duct?

What can I do? It is soooooooooooo sore!

Does your nipple feel itchy or burning?

Does the pain continue after a feed?

If so, it could be thrush at a guess.

You might like to see a GP and take the BfN leaflet about thrush treatment with you. The link is here

Thanks. I thought it might be thrush but not sure. Will look at leaflet.
