Projectile vomiting in 3wk old

My DS is mixed fed (formula and expressed breast milk.) I'm finding it increasingly hard to wind him and he now vomits up a lot of his feeds. I'm using an Avent bottle but he really tries to guzzle hard on it and dribbles a lot. Has anyone used a Dr Brown's bottle? I'm getting mixed reviews. Or should I change his milk.

I am not sure just offering support.

We used Tommie Tippee bottles, and that was fine.

What is his weight gain like?

Also, some babies do vomit up quite a bit and it can be alarmingly 'projectile' but if it is after most feeds I would get him checked by a GP, or at least the HV.

DD2 (now 4) used to projectile vomit after feeds in her newborn days. Not the entire feed, but more than just a tablespoon full. I was having problems getting bf-ing established and had to mix feed a little to supplement, that took about 3 weeks. The HV suggested reflux and said we could get the GP to prescribe some meds for it, but I wasn't keen on the idea after asking around on mum forums about their experiences of using these kinds of meds to treat reflux. Besides DD2 was thriving and didn't seem poorly at all. Once bf-ing was established, I stopped bottle-feeding and the projectile vomiting went away once the bottles and formula milk were done away with. I'm still not sure what really caused the projectile vomiting - if it was the formula or the bottles and wind, etc. If you are worried you should take your baby down to the GP and get him checked out.
