Biting - oucheeeee!

DS is 9 months old and has in the past few weeks seemed to turn from a cute little baby to a marauding cheeky hooligan! Part of this has been biting my poor old nips - he looks at me whilst feeding smiles and nips. They are only nips not full on hard bites but his teeth (he has 6) are like razor blades and he has drawn blood on a few occasions Shock. I have been doing the loud shouty "NO" and putting him down - he then crawls off laughing his head off. Then five minutes later he is asking for a feed again and so it goes on.

Any top tips???? Will it pass???? It is really frustrating and getting me down - I planned to carry on breastfeeding til 12 months or older then weaning onto cows milk on a cup (hes a bottle -refuser). It seems stupid going onto formula at his age but I am really thinking of retiring the boobs. I guess I could express but not sure he'd take a full feed from a cup? Any advice really appreciated!

was on a thread the other day for this

www.kellymom.com/bf/older-baby/biting.html

I'm carrying a small unusedmake up brush in jeans pocket as not keen on the smothering route and he giggles at the "no" or "arrrrrggghhh"

I think it's related to teething with my DS
