I think it's little and often in the early days. As he grows he'll be able to take more milk quickly and you will have some space between feeds. It won't last long. Smile

I am Bf my 5 week old but also on 2 hourly feeds or thereabouts, tiring but normal I think at this stage.

Yup, sounds normal to me. I bf, but looking back at the early notes I kept so I knew which twin had fed/soiled when, they fed roughly every two/two and a half hours. The cycle of changing, feeding, winding them both took just under two hours for me, so an hour for one sounds about right.

If it helps, I found that feeds became quicker and nappy changes less frequent from about 8 to 10 weeks. If you can clear your head of any goals other than responding to your baby and eating/cleaning yourself for a few mire weeks, I promise life will get more normal again soon Grin

Same here. My 5wo DD demands a feed anywhere between 1.5-3 hours. She's EBF so not sure how much she drinks.
