Still no periods....?

I'm not complaining, but just wondered how long I should wait before consulting the GP.

DD will be 12 months in a couple of weeks. I am still bf just at bedtime and then often a top-up when I go to bed. Still no sign of a period tho.... Any advice? I tried google but couldn't find anything useful.

Ds was 13 months when my period came back. I was probably feeding about the same amount as you.

Two days before first bday on two bf a day for me, v similar with second also.

Make the most of it. I'm still BF'ing at 18months but my periods came back when DS was five weeks old!

A friend of mine had her first last month when her DS was 16 months. Your body will regulate itself in time I'm sure

Ds was 2, but he fed a lot more frequently than that

The average is 14 months apparently. The longest I've heard of was 31 months. Mine haven't returned yet and DS is nearly 16 months.

How many feeds it takes to prevent return of AF varies wildly from person to person.

I've got advice, just enjoy it! Mine came back at about 15 months with both of mine, but like others have said, it can vary wildly between bfing Mums.

Mine were away 16 months with my 1st a year with the 2nd - 5 months with the 3rd and 7 weeks with the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! obv with the last two I was still EBF.... that said they have disappeared again and not had one for 5 months or so - I have no idea what is going on
