Omeprazole MUPS - how to get it in?

One of my boys is on omeprazole, but I struggle to get it in. I've tried letting it down with 5ml, and then syringing it in, but some gets stuck in the syringe, and same when I've put it in a bottle. Any advice? He's 16 weeks.

try using a Neurofen syringe as it doesn't get stuck in those. You need to keep swirling it around. At 4 months, you might want to consider putting it in a tiny bit of fruit puree on a spoon, its sure to go down that way. I was told to not consider it early weaning or giving food, but to just see it as flavouring the meds, like most other medicines are. I did it this way and it was a lot lot easier.

Good luck - Omeprazole is such a faff but if it works (and it often does) its fantastic.
