Ds refused bedtime feed...

ds is 13 weeks old and has had his second set of jabs today. He has fed well and normally during the day, but after I changed him for bed I offered him his normal bedtime feed and he started screaming, tried switching boobs, different position, stopping then trying later, but he just screamed every time I put him to my breast.

He has now fallen asleep. I can't believe I have been stressing about feeding to sleep and now am stressing because he hasn't done it! Could this be related to his jabs? I had noticed that the cluster feeding on an evening has died down a bit, but didn't expect him to go without a feed at all!

Should I be worried?

I wouldn't worry. He'll soon let you know if he is hungry! I think jabs do sometimes make little ones unsettled and/or a bit more tired than usual.....

Don't be worried but keep an eye on his temperature and just feed him if he wakes.

He might not be feeling well so keep an eye on him but he will probably be fine.

My DS1 was fine with jabs but DS2 was OK for the afternoon afterwards but by evening wouldn't stop whinging and crying and also wouldn't be fed which I thought might comfort him. He perked up later though and still woke in the night and fed so be prepared.
