DD refused bottle tonight - should I worry?

My 8mo DD BFs during the day and has one FF at bed time. She is on three meals a day and eats well. Today she had a big lunch but then didn't really eat her dinner or drink much of her bottle at bedtime (about 30ml) I offered her some boob and she had a bit and dozed off. She hasn't got a temperature and is now fast asleep. I'm sure I'm being a bit PFB about this but I'm worried that something is wrong. All I need is someone experienced to tell me that it's OK for this to happen once in a while...

It is fine for it to happen once in a while.
Children have on days and off days, hungry days and less hungry days. That's all perfectly natural.
One of the hardest things to do as a parent is to allow your child to go hungry for any reason, but once in a while, it does no harm.
Let her sleep tonight and see if she has any other symptoms tomorrow morning. If she does, you'll know that this was a sign. If not, put it down to a less hungry evening and try not to worry.

Thanks RuthChan - you're so right - it's really hard to think of her being hungry but one missed meal isn't the end of the world. I just worry so much....!

Don't worry. Worrying is all part of our job.
You'll get used to sending her to bed without much food inside her as she gets bigger. When they get into stroppy-toddler-mode they start refusing perfectly good food for the hell of it. It's all part and parcel of them growing up and they grow out of it like every other phase. :)
