Dr Browns or Tommee Tippee or MAM or other? DD really does seem to have much worse reflux after (expressed) bottle, currently using Avent with number 1 sized teats.

No bottles at all is not an option, sadly. Would be grateful for advice also on which size teat to get with the bottle you recommend. DD is 4 months old.

Many thanks - need to order them today!

Hiya. DD had reflux too so my unending sympathies. We used Dr Brown's on recommendation of the gp but I don't know how much difference they made; gavescon powder (available over the counter here in Ireland) plus things like not lying her down for about 25 mins after feeds etc probably made a much bigger difference. At 4 months I'd try size 2 teats but maybe buy some size 3s too for when she gets bigger and hungrier - at 4 months she's about to growth spurt!

Good luck. You're through the worst of it (honest).

Hi
dd had reflux and we used MAM bottles with the size 1 or 2 teat. They were good and easy to clean as they came apart into 6 components.

Yes definitely recommend holding her with head elevated for about 20-30 mins after feed.

Dd was on gaviscon and a couple of other anti-reflux meds.

I would second the Mam bottles - they were fab for dd. She was mostly bf but I was exhausted and needed a break. DD refused the other bottles so in desperation I bought a Mam one and loved it. Made a big difference. DD was on gaviscon - some anti colic drops can make reflux worse.

These are good for after feeds too:
