I BF DS on a night (all through the night) and when he needs to go for a nap, he is 2.7 yo now and I am having very irregular periods, is this normal?
Also I don't think one overy is ovulating will it start to ovulate again or is that a seperate issue?

Don't know the correct answer to those questions. There may not be a correct answer as every one is different. I got my periods back straight after my post delivery bleeding stopped. My 20+ years of irregular periods suddenly became regular after my Ds and I breastfed him for 18 months. Dd is still breastfed at 4.3yo and I'm peri menopausal, still having periods most months.

Why don't you have a chat with your family planning or GP?

I might do that but I don't want to waste anyones time with silly niggles when there are really sick people who need attention.
one thing that is miles better is the pain, I was crippled with period pain for 2 days before DS not not a niggle!

I feel very much like that, but the GP is there for you as much as anyone else and it is a health issue ~ especially regarding your ovulation concerns.
