tried milton, baby fusses. now boiling, but it's a faff. can you microwave-sterilise stuff in just a normal plastic container? if so, how? or do you have to get a proper microwave steriliser?

if i go to my mums i put the bottles in a steamer (cant be bothered taking steriliser with me)

A proper microwave steriliser is just a plastic container! I think you need a sort of "rack" to lift the items out of the water (I've had the Avent one and a travel version - both had racks)

200ml water, 5 mins at 850w. I remember it well!

laligo-simple just use an old ice cream container, cold water and get a pack of sterilising tablets from Boots(v cheap). Its easy and when your visiting most people will have a container if your desperate and u r not using electricity or dreaded microwave

thanks all. notasheep (great name!) we were using the big plastic tub with steriliser tablets option, but ds wouldn't drink from the bottle and we think it's the taste.
