Slow let-down at 8.5 months

You'd think the first bf of the day would be nice and free-flowing...this morning it took 4 minutes for let-down (normally is no more than 30 seconds).

Is there any particular reason why it should be so slow after all this time? I've never noticed it being this slow before. Any ideas? Do I need to spend any more time thinking about this at all?! Confused

I some times find my let-down is a bit slower when I'm on my period. Could it be that your periods are returning?

I've noticed this recently (6.5 months). I just try to take deep breaths and imagine the milk coming and it always does in the end.

The other thing that makes a big difference is alcohol - if I've had a drink letdown takes ages. Did you have anything to drink last night maybe?
