BF baby glue poo?

My 13 week old DD has had v v sticky PVA glue type poo from week 1- seems OK with it but she is also very gassy - wonder if she is slightly constipated or food intolerant or just a variation of normal? If so what do I do about it? My other kids were quite different.

franke take it you are bfing? Thought I'd link to What's in a nappy to see if thats any use.

The only other thing I can think of is phoning a bfing counsellor and maybe showing them a nappy in person.

Thank you jilted. Just in case anyone has the same "problem" she is now pooing more frequently and more "normal" consistency- I think because I have been eating loads of probiotic yoghurts recently as her poo smells yoghurty now. I had a difficult start to BF with mastitis etc and antibiotics then thrush and meds for that, so perhaps her wee gut was having to cope with too much.
