Watch out for explosive poo!

I read on the post-natal forum yesterday of a baby's explosive poo landing on curtains, furniture, etc from the changing station. I wondered how that was possible. Well, it happened to me today - it travelled some distance to land all over the walls, bed, cabinet, me, carpet. So, don't underestimate the force of explosive poo. It has been quite a job cleaning it and calming a screaming baby.

Poor you! When DD did that I dithered between taking a photo of the mess to show my DH just how bad it could be and cleaning up. DD's worst was at around 7 months after having ordinary cows milk on cereal. Shortly afterwards we realised she was dairy intolerant.

yep i had that the other night too. No fun trying to clean carpets and curtains at 2am! My DS was only 4 days old and I was secretly a bit proud of the force!
