Hi, does anyone have any advice or thoughts please. DS is 7 months and is weaning and on formula but also I am breast feeding twice a day still. Suddenly though he is rejecting the breast and getting very upset. He is still feeding well on bottle and food but it is very upsetting that he rejects the breast as i as hoing to carry on until 12 months.

is he teething? My DD goes on nursing strike just before she gets a tooth although will take a fast flow teat bottle. Apparently the sucking makes blood rush to the gums, making them more painful.

i'd stick with the breast for a bit if you can - just keep calm and keep offering as and when. agree it's probably teeth. it hopefully is a phase and once the tooth is through or whatever is upsetting him has passed, then he'll be glad of the comfort of a breastfeed (and a cuddle with his mummy)
