My ds did this for the first 6 weeks of his life. I was a bit perturbed too! He's now 12 weeks and has settled into a normal pooing routine :). Don't worry, may be just all the milk they're guzzling? My ds gained weight brilliantly throughout that time too, so I'd say not a problem (except for the cleaning up Wink)

My DS was the same. 3 times within 90 minutes once. His weight gain was fine and I didn't worry. But I did use disposable nappies to save my own sanity. My DS was e-csection, I think it can make them extra windy and therefore poo more. But I think if your DD is gaining weight it's nothing to worry about, just a bit of a nuisance for you.

On the normal spectrum - some babies do this. Unless there are any other symptoms, and there don't seem to be, you don't need to be concerned. HV should confirm all is well :)

DS pooed with every nappy, DD went 12 days. I think both are normal in an ebf baby.

There are some links on Kellymom that you might find useful.

Mine was the same - 10-12 times a day for the first couple of months. I only had 12 cloth nappies too Grin

Even now at 8 months he goes 2-3 times a day.
