My DD is 9 months old and she has just started to take a bottle. She takes a NUK one but i find she takes ages and ages to drink. I have bought the fastest flow teats but she still takes ages. She won;t really take another bottle - is there anything that i can do?!! the main problem is when ihave to put her to bed and my DS who is 2.5 is waiting to be put to bed (when i am on my own) I give her a bottle in her cot and as they share a room he is getting tired and comes in and wakes her up while i am feeding her. When my DH is around he read to DS while i feed but this week he is not around at bedtime. Help!

sorry if daft question but have you got the teats the right way round? There should be a little hole which needs to be under her nose so that the teat is pointing upwards towards the roof of her mouth.

Im sure you have but just thought Id mention it...would make it much harder for her to suck the other way so thought it might be why she's taking so long.

ours used nuk teats too.
there are too different sizes of teats and 3 different hole sizes i think.
