Public breastfeeding in Spain?

I am going to Mallorca in a couple of weeks (to the north side, which is more traditional and less touristy than the south) and just wondering if I will be OK feeding DS in cafes, restaurants, sitting in the town square etc...does anyone know if this is socially acceptable in Spain? I feed in public without batting an eyelid here but don't know if different etiquette applies there...

I've fed in cafes, restaurants, town squares etc in the Almeria area and have never had any problems/ looks/comments. I am very discreet though, and my step-father, who is best described as being 'very proper', commented on the fact that he couldn't tell what I was doing even though he knew I was doing it. DS was about 7 months at the time. Not sure how discreet I'll manage to be this time round though as he'll be nearer 15 months and tends to pull off to look around....

I believe they are very accepting of bf in Spain

It absolutely is. It's normal there (at least in the parts of Spain I've been to) unlike here!

I was BFing on holiday and just got lovely smiles from the locals (ds is blonde too which may explain that) :)

We go to Pollenca every year but this is the first time I'll be bfing. I've seen lots of people doing it tho, so don't expect you'll have a problem. DS2 will be 10 months and we do have "attention span" issues though...

In Madrid I saw a lady sit down with her two male companions at a cafe table right on the street, and feed her baby. While she was feeding the waiter came up and took their order, there was absolutely no fuss from anyone involved or any of the passers by. She probably thought I was staring but it was only because I was 12 weeks preganant so super interested in babies...
