Hello,
Ds 2 is now 9 months old. He has 2 teeth on the bottom which arrived at 6 months and it was fine.
His top 2 incisors have appeared over the last week and he is having trouble bfing - keeps gagging during bf then giving up, can't seem to get the latch right.
I can feel the teeth as well.
Will he sort it out by himself or can I help him adjust his latch somehow?
Any top tips/ experience appreciated :)

I'd ring your health visitor and ask where the local breast feeding clinic is and go along. Or ring La leche for a chat to be honest.

What I can say is that I always put a little bonjela on the gums of my two before a feed to help as their gums were sore. It may not be anything to do with the teeth and your let down is too fast for example at the moment? Especially if you're replacing feeds and therefore have excess milk at the moment.

So I would recommend you get some professional help personally as I'm sure with the right advice things will improve again.
