Sudden change in 6 week old.

Help! My 6 week old, who before yesterday was a good, hungry feeder, has gone all strange! She has gone from feeding for 40+ mins to 10 mins and then fussing. She writhes around and keeps spitting out my nipple, really uninterested. She had a ebm bottle earlier and was the same. It took over an hour but she eventually took 4oz. What is going on?! Her poo is also very green!

Is she still having lots of wet nappies?

Green poo is offten a sign of a number of different things and not normaly anything to worry about. eg. salvia from teathing and mucase from a cold can couse it.

It could be she's just getting more efficant with feeding, or she's coming down with somthing ie a cold, or that she's hit the 6 week growth spurt. BF babies aren't predictable and offten just when you've think you've figgered them out something will change. Acutly all babies are like that.

Giving a bottle doesn't really indicate anything, as feeding from a bottle is a different action then BF, even a full BF baby will take milk from a bottle and wouldn't have tried for so long I would have taken it away.

If it was a growth spurt wouldn't she eat more? She's point blank refusing second breast each feed. Lots of wet nappies so I probably shouldn't worry to much!
