My bf baby is now 15 weeks and today he's only fed for 5 mins each feed 10am, 1pm, 4pm,6pm is this normal? normally he feeds for 15-20 mins each feed. I alsonoticed one of my breast pads was wet through (normally isnt).I keep trying to encourage him but hes just not bothered. help

lots of skin to skin and just keep offering? he might just be having an off day....

I've just tried expressing both sides and could only get 1/2 oz out so surely if he wasnt taking as much id be able to get a fair amount out?

it might be that he's become more adapt at feeding, my baby could suddenly empty the breast in 5 mins after previously taking 20 mins, also you're pump will never get as much as the baby can so it's no indication of how much you're producing or how much baby is getting.

I'm sure I remember her having a few off days as well where she didn't feed v much, is he bright and alert otherwise? wet nappies?

Just keep offering and maybe have a couple of quiet days so feeding is easy (I find it much easier to feed at home rather than out and about)
