HI

My lo was breastfed till he was 6 months then i went back to work and started to give him formula - he has never been a big milk drinker but would take 3 5 oz bottles a day. Last week he had a sickness bug (started monday) and since then his refusing milk, he has taken a max of 2oz per bottle but normally he just refuses it completely. He is now back to normal and is eating his food as normal but still not touching his milk. He is having water with his meals but i'm worried about him not taking his milk - should i worry or will he be fine without it. Hope someone can help x

hi. obviously its nice if they do drink more milk but my dd has similar issue and my neice never drank milk from a bottle after breastfeeding stopped at 10 months, she's now 18 months and now drinks one bottle a day. maybe just try to put milk into his food where possible but if he's drinking water he'll drink milk when he needs to. keep offering but dont worry about it
