I stopped breast feeding my 6 month old about 8 weeks ago, i have just finished my 1st post pregnancy. This morning I felt that old familiar twinge of milk coming in and (don't know why) I hand expressed a bit out of interest and it is really gloopy and thick and creamy. Would it be colostrum again?

I still get this 9 years after stopping b/f. Looks like colostrum to me.

yes, stick it on your finger and feed it to your baby, and bask in the smug glow of the healthiest taste you can give himGrin

well the problem is I am taking medication now so i dont think I can. If it is colostrum I will stop the meds and try again in a few days. How can I tell if it definately is ?

TMI alert. I just tasted it and it is really really rich like cream. It isn't yellow, but an off white cream colour. Wow, I might have magic tits !!!! will give it to all 3 kids if it is !
