How much does your 2 YO BF?

I've just cut down the number of BF my DS has. Essentially, I stopped demand feeding and now only feed at nap time, bed time and during the night.
This is fine, but he now feeds for ages!
At nap time today he fed for about 45 mins.
At bed time it was about the same and I know he'll do the same once or twice in the night (I co-sleep so don't really notice).

I'm just curious really. DS1 had cut right down at this stage.

Thanks.

I wonder if it's long to keep your supply up? I only say that because when my 13 m.o. resumed feeding after a 12 day nursing strike, he suddenly started feeding for AGES, especially when feeding to sleep. After a few days he went back to normal length feeds, so I assumed he needed to do the longer feeds to get my supply back up again.

Funny, I have the same thing with DD (2.1). She bf in the morning, before nap and before bedtime. She was actually quicker up to a month ago with the same schedule, but leately it's been taking ages and also she's become very adventurous with the positions- won't lay by my side, I have to be on my back while she crawls all over me, switching from one breast to other, back and forth.

In fact, I think I might wean her in the next few months, tbh. As much as I loved bf her, it's becoming a bit of a pita plus when she wakes up in the night (usually 2-3 nights a week) she wants me and bf so DP can't settle her back.
