DS constipated? Seems uncomfortable

ds is 8 weeks old. He hasn't pooed since Sunday, and seems grumpy and uncomfortable.
Usually this sort of mood, a feed sorts him out, but he's not interested.
Could he be constipated? If yes, what can I do to help him? (he's bf)
Thankyou

Try massaging his tummy. It worked well for me. My HV taught me but this might be useful for you.

My HV warned me that around 6-8 weeks breastfed babies can all of a sudden go from frequent poking to not going for days. Apparently up to 10 is normal. It's to do with the milk being better absorbed as the gut matures so producing less waste.
My son has only been 3 times in a week and a half. It's not constipation as when he goes there is no straining and poo is still liquidy though less so than previously. He does get windier and windier towards the poo though and think this can lead to some discomfort. If I hadn't been warned I think I'd have been very alarmed.

His poo has changed a bit in the last few days, so that makes sense.
Liked the YouTube link ken (not even going to try to say your name with the crap amount of sleep I've had :o)

Thankyou both of you :)

Apart from anything, it is something to laugh at as the massage makes them do builder style farts!

Have massaged him, and he is now zonked on the changing mat, with lovely loose legs, having done the biggest poo in the world :o

Was like a mustard factory Shock

Hilarious. My son's first one after a few days took three nappy changes and two of us to contain it! He'll be knackered for ages after such exertion.

Excellent! Glad it did the trick.
