cluster feeding/baby won't settle

Hi. My 2-week old little girl seems to have decided on cluster feeding for hours between about 10pm and 3am, sometimes for the full 5 hours, sometimes just for a couple. She feeds and feeds and feeds and just won't settle until she finally conks out and sleeps for a good few hours.

Having googled this, it seems it is quite normal, but does anyone have any magic tips for dealing with it? Is it best to just go with it, stay up, feed her, watch TV or whatever, or to try to get her to settle however much of a struggle it is?

Thanks -

Sorry you are going through this, I remember it well. Best advise I received was go with it, it doesn't last long. Just make sure you have loads of good stuff to watch or a good book and a drink and something to eat near by.
It will pass.

Go with it at that early stage - just watch TV, have lots of snacks and drinks by the sofa and stay chilled out.

When she's a wee bit older, maybe try having someone else settle her after a few hours of cluster feeding - we found DD cluster fed more when overtired so there was a short "window" when she'd fed enough and was sleepy before she went into overtired-need-mommy mode. If we caught that window, DH could settle her - if I tried, she wanted booby.
