DD 14 weeks currently ff, using avent bottles and on 2 hole teets (?sp teats?). tried her on the three hole ones again and she wasn't for it.

should i keep trying? im thinking no, but aware that at somepoint she will need to go onto beaker, which would im guessing be easier if she was on the 3 holes.

im aware that babies do go onto beakers from bf and boobs dont have more holes as they get older! Grin

hi my DS is 12 weeks and currently on stage two dr brown teats very similar to advent, is your lo getting fussy on the bottle as if its not coming out fast enough on stage 2? if she isnt i would stick to stage 3 as stage 3 is 6 months + i belive, but every baby is different and she may prefer the faster flow, hope this helps :)

I tried my DD on avent number 3 teats at about that age and they were way too fast for her so we went back to number 2. I did switched her about a month later. It took a few days for her to adjust but now she is fine as long as she doesn't smile mid feed. At 14 weeks you are a long way from having to get onto a beaker I think. My DD now has beakers for water but still has a bottle for milk - she is 6mo. I don't know when you should get rid of bottles by, I imagine it is about 12mo.
