A booby question!

Hello,

I have just finished bf my 8 month old boy, was a tough old start but we both loved every minute. Feel all sad about it!

My boobs feel pretty much the same as they did after my last feed on Sunday, had a tiny bit of milk pop out the other night and I was only feeding once a day by the time I stopped so they adjusted quite well. My query is will they shrink and when and what happens to the milk that presumably is in there? I still have over 2 stone of baby weight to loose, bf only did so much for me in the weight loss department so don't really know where they stand! How long does it all take?

Don't really know where the milk goes, think you might need to ask a bfing counsellor that one , but mine have stayed pretty much the same shape and size as in pregnancy, which is great for me as they were tiny.

I think the milk gets reabsorbed into your body.

The milk gets reabsorbed - it's a bodily fluid after all!
