Mild heartburn after cutting down bf

I'm really clutching at straws here but I'm trying to work out why I've had heartburn almost constantly for the last few days.

I'm condidering whether hormone changes could have anything to do with it? I've recently cut down feeds from several during night / day to just two in a 24 hour period.

Has anybody else experienced heartburn / indigestion after cutting down or stopping breastfeeding?

Pumpkin have you thought of ringing one of the helplines to see if they know?

Hope it goes soon for you though.

Thankyou, I went to the pharmacy to get Gaviscon & the lady said it could possible be hormonal but could be any other number of things. Havent had it yet today so finger crossed!

Lower dopamine is related to milk supply and also preventing sickness/heartburn so higher dopamine from stopping bfing could theoretically cause heartburn or nausea.
