My DD is pulling on me too....to turn and watch the tv! I read on here once that someone suggested pushing their face into the breast when they bite to make them open their mouth? Might sound a bit mean but in practice would work quickly as opposed to shouting and scaring them.

DS2 is 18 weeks and has been doing this. I shouted "ouch, no!" really loudly one time (more as a reflex than anything else), and he just laughed, like that evil doll creature thing, can't remember the name. It does seem to help when I hold him more tightly, but mainly waiting til he is definitely hungry before I feed him, and he concentrates on the job in hand better (ie. we have to fit in around DS1, so sometimes he isn't necessarily that hungry, but I need him to feed, like before the preschool run or something).

They get nosey.

They don't unlatch themselves and turn away to satisfy their curiosity.

It hurts.

With my 2 ds, I did the press them into the boob thing. It works! It didn't work first time but it didn't take long.

If you shout out or whatever, it makes them laugh and they do it even more ime!

I found the shouting and scaring far more effective! You want to stop this as soon as you can so feeding is still enjoyable for both of you.

I pressed him in for his last feed, def an improvement so will keep at it, but the bugger is so strong!! :)
