Discoloured teats

All the rubber bits on my equipment are becoming discoloured. I use a steam steriliser and clean it regularly. SIL has the same problem and shes different bottles and brand of steamer.

Is it the water in our area and has anyone got advice for getting the yellow colour off?

I think it just naturally happens with use. All of our teats always turned a yellowy colour (different makes at different times).

As long as they are not broken or marred in anyway, clean and sterilsed I don't think the colour of them is of any consequence.
