Scorched milk in formula powder?

Hello, I found a small, hard, crumb like item in a box of powdered formula. The help line person is sending me a pack to return it and the box, but advised it sounded as if it was "scorched milk". Never heard of that before, have any of you?

no, i haven't.

i would actually not send it back to them at all. I would send it to the FSA or environmental health to check

I agree with previous post.

My friend found a live worm in a just opened tub of formula, so she sent it back to the manufacturer and they denied all knowledge of it.

Boak at live worm - will google FSA details, thanks, there was a little alarm bell ringing in the back of my mind that sending it to the un-named company wasn't the best idea.

Well FSA site didn't seem very user friendly, sent it back to the manufacturers who said it was scorched milk and sent me vouchers to the value of 2 x the tin I sent back
