Should I worry?

My DS is 17 weeks old. He has had a cold but is now a lot better and is back to his normal self. Thing is, he seems to be off his milk. He is FF and normally takes around 7ozs per feed. The last few days though he really doesn't seem that interested in his milk. He feeds about every 4 hours but seems to only be taking around 5ozs per feed and then completely looses interest.
His weight is normal and, like I say, he is completely normal in himself and his nappies are often wet.

My DH seems to think that he is bored of his milk and ready for weaning but im not sure I really buy this!

I BF my first child so perhaps this is normal but I never saw it because you obviously don't see how much they take from you.

Should I worry or just trust that he takes what he needs and is content?

17 weeks is a bit young for weaning (recommendations are 26 weeks now I think). Not sure babies can get bored of milk either as that is what they are supposed to drink and obviously they don't know anything else exists :)

If his weight is growing normally and he seems well in himself I wouldn't worry about it. Or perhaps ask the HV about it?
