15 week old refusing breast

My 15 week old has never been a good feeder, he latches on and will suck for 3 mins max and then comes off, he does come back to the breast but then moves his head away again, he will repeat this 3 or 4 times which usually ends in us both getting frustrated.

For the past week he has started to cry as I put him in the breast feeding position and it has got to the point where I can only get him to frrd if he is sleepy or already asleep. However, he doesn't want to sleep during the day either.

He has been given reflux treatment (liquid Zantac) and we have both been treated for thrush, but nothing seems to help. I have been to a breastfeeding councillor, Health Visitor and Doctor, but things are not getting any better.

He seems to be drooling profusely and always seems to have a stuffy nose, (again which we have tried all the usual treatments for) I have tried expressing and formula but he refuses the bottle and doesn't seem to know what to do with it. I feel like the past 3 months I have been on standby in case he is ready for a feed.

Please can anybody help with tips or suggestions.

What is his weight gain like? Could it just be he prefers lots of short feeds, rather than fewer big ones?

He does not seem interested in feeding, I fed him this morning at 07.45 and tried again at 11.30, he refused, then again at 12.30, he refused he has just latched on for a few mins at 16.00.

He is gaining weight slowly, in the last 2 weeks he went from 6.08kg to 6.4kg.
