5 month old not feeding

My FF DD has never been a great feeder, but used to feed every 2 to 3 hours and slept through, having 5 to 6 feeds during the day. Now she only wants 3 or 4 and really only feeds well when it is a feed before a nap/sleep, when she gets relaxed and dozy. She just is not interested at other times and during the day is going 4 -5 hours with out a feed. Is this normal?

Sounds not unnormal. Is she getting distracted by what's going on around her. Have you tried going into a really quiet room and feeding her. Is she still sleeping through?

She is still sleeping through. I have tried taking her to another quiet room with a little more success. 4 -5 hours just seems quite a long time to me and even then I am nearly at the stage I need to force feed her!

My 5 month old won't feed now unless she is in a darkened bedroom lying down. But she wants to do that every 2 hours all day Hmm It is a pita.
