I am having a nightmare with my 8 month DD. She has been exclusivly breastfed til 6 months and from then I introduced 1 bottle feed a day. Which wasnt a problem. i have now returned to work and she refusues to take the bottle at all, she fights the bottle and wont let it near her at all. She waits for milk until i get home ( as i am still doing the morning and night breastfeed). But she wakes up about five times in the night hungry wanting milk. To top it off she is teething 4 top teeth!!
Any suggestions PLEASE!!

I feel your pain. Am in a very similar position. My DS is 22 weeks, was EBF till 20 weeks, then took 2 bottles of formula a day. All was good till he got a bug and was really ill. Now we're back to square one. Not sleeping well, not feeding from the bottle. If you work out how to get round this one let me know!!

Hi nealrymumofone - a friend told me to gently wake her up before you go to bed and give her a bottle. We tried it and it work she took 6oz in one go and has taken the bottle ever since!! sometimes only a couple of oz but its better than nothing!!

I'm having the same problem, my DD is 6 mnths old & although she had taken the bottle many times before with no problem, I didnt use it for about a month or so & now she is refusing it every time! Last saturday I had to do a course and she basically refused her milk all day until I got home & Bfed her! Wont drink from her cup either, Not good.
Anyone figures this out let me know what worked! I will try the stealth feeding tonight!
